Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, better known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a rare neurodegenerative disease in which motor neurons lose their function and a patient’s brain is no longer able to communicate with their muscles. It is a devastating diagnosis for patients and their loved ones; motor function can diminish quickly, and life expectancy after diagnosis is 3-5 years on average.

Scientists are moving faster by the day in a race to find better medication to make the disease livable, and to eventually find a cure.

Funding is critical.

Through Laura’s giveaway, you have an opportunity to make a difference and a chance to win tickets to see the New York Yankees take on the New York Mets at Citi Field on Saturday, May 16 at 7:15pm ET.

• Entry will close on Sunday, May 3rd at 11:59pm ET.
• Random drawing for the pair of tickets (valued at over $400) will take place on Monday, May 4th. Winner will be contacted via email and announced on Instagram (@lmc055).
• Tickets will be transferred to the winner via the MLB Ballpark App (requires sign-up with email or phone number).
