It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter J Rizzotto, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and dear friend to many. He passed away peacefully on 2/28/25, surrounded by those nearest to his heart, the family he loved so deeply.

Born on July 12, 1951 in Sicily, Peter lived a life full of passion, dedication, and love. He was the beloved husband of Elaine Rizzotto, a proud father to his son, John Rizzotto, and daughter, Gina Rizzotto, and a doting grandfather to Angelo & Austin Rizzotto and loving father-in-law to Kay Rizzotto. His family was his greatest source of joy; he was the heart and soul of their home. He never missed a chance to lighten the mood with his silly jokes, always bringing laughter and smiles to those around him.

Peter had a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and was the proud builder of a ministry of furniture, where his artistry and hard work were reflected in every piece he created. He possessed a remarkable ability to bring any idea he envisioned to life leaving those around him in awe of his craftsmanship and ingenuity.  When he wasn’t in his workshop, he could often be found outside, immersed in his love for cars—a passion he shared with his son. His enthusiasm for Corvettes was unparalleled, and he frequently delighted in sharing stories, admiring classic models, and going cruising in his favorite vehicles.

Those who knew him will remember his kind heart, unwavering dedication, and the warmth he brought to every room. Whether he was working with his hands, spending time with family, or sharing laughter with friends, he lived his life with purpose and love.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and in the beautiful work he left behind.
