My Personal Walk ALS Page
In 2017, I was diagnosed with ALS: Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly takes away the body’s ability to walk, swallow, talk, and breathe. A person with ALS has a life expectancy averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. Currently there is no known cause or cure.
A year later, I left my career to focus on my health and ALS United Greater New York welcomed me to their community. They supported me and my family, and have been a great resource. Therefore, I’m participating in the ALS Walk on May 4th to raise funds that will support individuals and families like me/my family who are affected by ALS.
Please consider supporting my efforts by a generous donation through my fundraising page; or feel free to send this page to any friend or family member who might be interested in donating!
Thank you,
Terry xo
