Walk to Defeat ALS
In 2021, my father Jay was diagnosed with ALS. Things have looked as little different for my family over the last few years as my dad's disease has progressed.
Somehow through it all, he remains optimistic - and it's that optimism that makes this time together so special.
The Long Island Walk to Defeat ALS is coming up next week. If you have a few bucks for a good cause, please consider making a donation.
This is the 3rd year my family and I will participate in the walk. The money we've rasied over the past three years has helped to make a difference in continuing the research and services benefiting people with ALS.
