My Personal Walk ALS Page
This year, I am again Walking to Defeat ALS in memory of my cousin, Pete deJesus, and am honored to serve as co-captain for this cause.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
As in the past, the ALS Walk will be held at Eisenhower Park, Field 6. This year it will be held on Saturday, September 21st. Please consider walking with me or sponsoring me. It's a 3-mile walk. Check in time is 9am. The walk starts at 11am. Thanks, and hope to see you there!
