We are returning again  for year to Honor our Uncle Mike. My Uncle Michael is an outstanding man who is always first to lend a hand, so it is without hesitation we will join this fight for him once again.

As a young boy/man I always looked up to Uncle Mike, I attribute some of my work ethic to him as one of my many mentors in life. A Retired FDNY Fireman, he also worked as a contractor on his "off" Days. Always having more then one job it is easy to see how he played a part in molding my work ethic. In True "IRON MAN" Fashion he always answered the bell just like the Name sake of this Brutal Disease Lou Gehrig did everyday of his career.

Over this past year the Disease has taken its toll and has slowly drained him of his physical function, but NO Disease will steal his Heart and Love for his family. 

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone regardless of age, gender, nationality, or ethnicity, although it is primarily an adult-onset disease. Currently there is no known cause or cure.
