Walk to Defeat ALS- Team Arlene
Hello! My name is Hayley Colabelli, and my family and I will be walking once again in the Walk to Defeat ALS on Sunday, October 20th, on the Walkway Over the Hudson. We have been walking in honor of my grandmother, Arlene Coyle, who passed away from ALS. This walk holds a special place in our hearts, as we started walking for her during the last years of her life and continue to do so in her memory. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a devastating condition that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, eventually leading to the loss of muscle control. There is currently no cure, but through events like this, we can raise awareness and funds to support ongoing research and help families affected by this disease. We appreciate your support in keeping my nanny’s legacy alive and in fighting for a world without ALS.
