Push Your Limits. Fight ALS.
RACING TOWARDS AN ALS CURE
Running for my brother, Aaron Lazar
Hello -
If you've reached this page, you either know me personally, professionally or know my brother Aaron.
On Nov 3, 2024, I will be participating in the 2024 NYC Marathon, not just as a runner, but as a fighter for a cause very close to my heart.
If you don't know my brother Aaron, allow me to introduce you to my inspiration, my hero, my beautiful brother, Aaron Lazar. Aaron is an acclaimed award winning actor and Broadway performer with over 10 Broadway shows and countless movies on his resume! Two years ago, Aaron was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), a debilitating neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, robbing individuals of their ability to control muscle movement. Despite the immense challenges he faces daily, Aaron continues to approach life with unwavering strength, courage, and hope. He has selflessly dedicated his life to sharing his story with others, in a hope to not only raise awareness of this terrible disease, but also in hopes of allowing others to realize that ALS doesn't have to overshadow and overtake your life. Aaron is a beacon of hope and he now speaks across the country, sharing his "Impossible Dream." Anyone interested in learning more about my brother, please visit his website www.Aaronlazar.com
As I lace up my running shoes and prepare to tackle 26.2 miles through the streets of New York City, I am driven by a singular purpose: to support my brother Aaron and all those fighting against ALS. With each step I take, I carry not only my own determination but also the hopes and dreams of countless individuals impacted by this relentless disease.
But I cannot do this alone. I need your support.
My goal is to raise $4500 to contribute to ALS research, support services, and ultimately, to bring hope to families like ours. Every dollar donated brings us one step closer to finding a cure and improving the lives of those affected by ALS.
Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can turn hope into action.
Thank you for joining me on this journey of hope, resilience, and determination. Your generosity and support mean more than words can express.
With gratitude and love,
Chad
