Push Your Limits. Fight ALS.
I am running with Team ALS to support those affected by ALS, and to commemorate my dad, Michael "Boomer" Wallace. In May 2016, my dad was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. During his battle with ALS, my family was introduced to ALS United, where we participated in local events organized by the Philadelphia chapter. Before he passed in December 2018, my dad dedicated a lot of his time supporting the ALS community through ALS United and Augie’s Quest.
I'm excited to run with Team ALS, this is a great opportunity to raise awareness and money for the Greater New York chapter of ALS United. Most importantly, 46% of every dollar raised directly supports individuals and families impacted by ALS. These contributions include at-home care services and access to medical equipment.
Thank you for the time and I hope you consider donating. No donation is too small. I greatly appreciate your support.
Best,
Will
PS: My dad and I share a great love for music. I put together a playlist with some of our favorites on it. I’ll be listening to this while training, here’s a link to check it out!
