My Personal Walk ALS Page

Hi my name is Chaz. My aunt/godmother Tracie died this past year from this horrible disease & this is very personal for me. I usually wouldn't beg for money. I usually wouldn't travel 2.5 hours just to walk around N.Y.C. But once again, I'm participating in ALS United Greater New York’s Walk ALS to raise funds that will support individuals & families affected by ALS.
If you cannot give financial or moral support *PLEASE" send this page to any friend or family member who might be interested in donating. Being a part of ALS United Greater New York’s WALK ALS is the #1 way to unite & fundraise for those living with ALS. Your donation today will help fund resources & services to the local ALS community, help find new ALS treatments, & move us closer to a world without the disease.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (known as Lou Gehrig's Disease) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow & breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone regardless of age, gender, nationality, or ethnicity, although it is primarily an adult-onset disease. Currently there is no known cause or cure.
