Wayne's Warriors Walk 2025
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm walking in Wayne's memory and to raise much needed funds that will support individuals and families affected by ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe trapping you in your body and taking away every little bit of dignity all while fully aware. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. Wayne only survived 16 months. ALS can strike anyone regardless of age or gender. Currently there is no known cause or cure. ALS is a horrific disease for not only the person diagnosed but also for the family as they watch their loved one robbed of everything right down the smallest of tasks like blinking their eyes.
Please consider supporting my efforts, walk with us, spread awareness. ALS can happen to someone you love.
Your donation today will help fund resources and services to the local ALS community, help find new ALS treatments, and move us closer to a world without the disease.
Please walk with us in Wayne's memory and for all those still fighting the battle. Share this page with friends or family, together we can end ALS.
Thank you.
