NJHS Cure Crew ALS Long Island Page

Thank you so much for visiting our fundraising page! We’re the Valley Stream North National Junior Honor Society, and we’re proud to be participating in ALS United Greater New York’s Walk ALS. We're walking together to raise funds that support individuals and families affected by ALS.
ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is a devastating, progressive disease that slowly takes away a person’s ability to walk, speak, eat, and even breathe. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is just 2 to 5 years. ALS doesn’t discriminate — it can affect anyone, at any time — and right now, there’s still no known cause or cure.
By taking part in Walk ALS, we’re joining a powerful movement to support those living with ALS and to help bring hope through research, care, and advocacy. We’d be so grateful if you could support us by donating through our fundraising page.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide critical services to families in our local ALS community and brings us closer to discovering life-saving treatments — and, one day, a cure.
Please feel free to share our page with friends and family who might want to join us in making a difference.
Thank you for your support, it truly means the world to us.
