Walk ALS Long Island

Always Love Sandy (ALS)

This year, I’m participating in the Walk for ALS to honor the life of my beautiful mom, who lost her courageous battle with ALS. It’s hard to put into words how much she meant to me and to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

ALS took so much from her—her strength, her ability to move, her voice—but it never took away her heart, her love, or her laughter. Even in the face of this devastating disease, she showed nothing but resilience and grace. Watching her fight was a reminder of what it truly means to be strong. I will carry her memory and her spirit with me for the rest of my life.

I’m walking not only to remember her, but to honor all those still fighting ALS. This walk is a chance to raise awareness, fund research, and provide support for families facing the same heartbreaking journey we went through. My mom may no longer be here physically, but I know that every step I take brings us closer to a world where ALS no longer steals the ones we love.

I ask for your support in my walk—whether it’s by donating, sharing this message, or simply keeping those affected by ALS in your thoughts. Together, we can help bring an end to this cruel disease and give hope to families still struggling.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity.

With love and gratitude,
