On October 20, our family will walk in memory of my mother-in-law, Sandy, who passed away from ALS in May of 2024. We walk not only to honor her life, but to help others who are still fighting this devastating disease.

ALS is cruel - it takes so much, so quickly. But even through the hardest moments, Sandy faced every day with strength, grace, and love. She never stopped smiling, and she never stopped caring about the people around her.

We?re walking to give back to ALS United Greater New York, a nonprofit organization that supported Sandy and our family every step of the way. They made sure she had the equipment, resources, and care she needed to live with dignity and comfort. Their compassion made an unbearable journey a little lighter - and we want to help them do the same for others.

Every dollar raised goes toward helping families like ours, families who are fighting, adapting, and finding hope through the unimaginable.
