Push Your Limits. Fight ALS.
I am running the 2025 NYC Marathon with Team ALS in honor of my sister-in-law, Lauren, and in memory of her mom, Bonnie, who passed away just over a year ago after a courageous battle with ALS. Lauren has been a massive influence on my life since I was 7 years old. While Bonnie was battling ALS, we learned that Lauren also carries the gene.
ALS is a cruel, progressive illness that does not have a cure today. I?m running for them to raise awareness, inspire hope, and help fund the fight for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig?s Disease, is a progressive neurological disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Every 90 minutes, someone is diagnosed, and someone dies. While 90% of cases have no known genetic cause, 10%, like Lauren?s, are hereditary.
By supporting my run, you?re helping ALS United Greater New York fund life-saving research, patient services, and advocacy. Please consider donating ? because together, we can end ALS!
