2025 NYC Marathon | Team ALS
I’m proud to be running with Team ALS in this year’s NYC Marathon to raise awareness and support for individuals and families affected by ALS. Your donation will directly support ALS United Greater New York, helping fund patient services, community programs, and research that’s critical to finding better treatments—and eventually, a cure.
ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that impacts the brain and spinal cord. Every 90 minutes, someone is diagnosed—and someone else dies from it. While most cases are sporadic with no clear genetic link, about 10% are inherited, known as familial ALS.
This cause became personal to me through my best friend, Emily Tyler, who lost her mom to familial ALS. I’ve seen how this disease impacts not just the person diagnosed, but the entire family—and how urgent the need is for better answers and support.
Running alongside Emily this fall is one small way I can show up—for her, for her mom, and for the many others navigating this disease right now. If you’re able, I hope you’ll consider donating to my fundraising efforts—and feel free to share the page with anyone else who might want to help.
Thank you for being part of this. Go Team ALS!
