My Personal Walk ALS Page
Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page in honor of my dad.
For the past two years, I’ve participated in ALS United Greater New York’s Walk ALS, and I’m proud to be taking part again to raise funds that support individuals and families affected by ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive and fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly takes away a person’s ability to walk, speak, swallow, and eventually breathe, while being completely aware of what is happening to you. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is just 2 to 5 years. ALS can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, nationality, or ethnicity, and currently there is no known cause or cure.
Participating in Walk ALS is one of the most powerful ways we can come together to support those living with this devastating disease. Please consider making a donation through my fundraising page to support my efforts. Even a 10 dollar donation is helpful, a price of your daily coffee!
Your contribution will help provide vital resources and services to the local ALS community, advance research for new treatments, and move us closer to a world without ALS.
Please feel free to share this page with any friends or family members who may also want to help make a difference.
Thank you so much for your support and helping me honor my Dad!
