China’s Baskets of Hope – Carrying Her Legacy

On August 17th, 2025, we lost our beloved China, but her strength, love, and light continue to live on through all of us. Last year, we walked alongside her as she bravely fought ALS. This year, we walk in her memory, carrying her legacy forward with every step.

We invite our family and friends to join us in this fight against ALS to walk with us, support us, and help us keep her memory alive. Together, we can continue to honor her while raising awareness and hope for a future without this disease.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neuromuscular disease that impacts a person’s ability to move, speak, swallow, and breathe. While there is currently no cure, organizations like ALS United Greater New York provide critical resources, support, and fund research efforts to bring us closer to one.
