My Personal Walk ALS Page
Hi All !
My name is Jose Dardon, and my mother was Carmen Castaneda Dardon. I lost my mother on December 7, 2021, to ALS. Many of you who had the privilege of meeting her, or who came to know her through my social media, know that she was a fun, outgoing, hardworking woman who was always smiling and making jokes. She was diagnosed in February 2020, and unfortunately, the disease progressed rapidly, taking her from us at the age of 70. She had a generous heart and loved helping others — she would have taken the food off her own plate to give to someone in need. This ALS charity walk means more to me than words can express, and I truly believe she would be proud of us for coming together to give back and support the search for a cure. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your love and support.
Your donation today will help fund resources and services to the local ALS community, help find new ALS treatments, and move us closer to a world without the disease.
