Team Angela
Thank you for visiting TEAM ANGELA’s fundraising page.
I am participating in ALS United Greater New York’s Walk ALS to raise funds that support individuals and families affected by ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive and fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs people of their ability to walk, speak, swallow, and eventually breathe. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is just 2 to 5 years. ALS can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, nationality, or ethnicity, and currently, there is no known cause or cure.
My mother, Angela, passed away this past November after a heartbreaking battle with ALS that lasted less than three years. In what felt like such a short time, we watched this disease take more and more from her—yet her strength, love, and spirit never wavered. It’s impossible to fully express how devastating this loss has been. She was the backbone of our family—our strength, our support, and our heart—and she is deeply missed every single day.
I am walking in ALS United Greater New York’s Walk ALS to honor my mom’s memory and to stand alongside others facing this terrible disease. This cause is deeply personal to me, and I am committed to raising awareness and funds to support those who are still fighting.
Please consider supporting my efforts by joining my team or making a donation through this page.
Your contribution will help provide critical resources and services to the local ALS community, support research for new treatments, and bring us closer to a future without this horrible disease.
Please feel free to share this page with friends and family who may also want to make a difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your support—it truly means more than words can express.
