Walking for My Dad: Fighting ALS Together

This walk is deeply personal for us. I am walking for my dad, who is currently living with ALS, and for my little brother and I, who care for him every single day.

ALS has changed our lives in ways we could have never imagined. It’s not just a diagnosis—it’s something our family lives with daily. We’ve watched my dad lose abilities that many of us take for granted, but through it all, his strength, resilience, and spirit continue to inspire us.

As his caregivers, my brother and I have taken on this journey together. It hasn’t been easy, but it has shown us the true meaning of family. We are also incredibly grateful for the support of our family-my uncle, my grandmother, and my fiancé, who have been there for us throughout this journey. It truly takes a village and we couldn’t have done this without them.

We are participating in the ALS Walk to help raise awareness, support other families going through this, and contribute to the fight for a cure. No family should have to face this disease alone.
