My Personal Walk ALS Long Island Page
My dad and I volunteer together with ALS United Greater New York in memory of my Uncle Bruce, my dad's brother, who we lost to ALS. Watching this devastating disease gradually take over his body was incredibly painful. I was the last person in my immediate family to see him before he passed, and I'll never forget the life, love, and strength that remained in his eyes despite his inability to move or communicate.
That experience left a lasting impact on me and made this cause deeply personal for both my dad and me. In Uncle Bruce's honor, I ran the New York City Marathon and raised over $5,000 to support ALS research and patient services. Every walk and volunteer opportunity is our way of honoring his memory while helping bring hope to other families facing this devastating disease.
If you're able, please consider making a donation today. Every contribution helps. Thank you for helping us honor Uncle Bruce's legacy.
