My Personal Walk ALS Long Island Page
My family’s world changed when my sister was diagnosed with ALS at just 47 years young. What began as small changes in her strength quickly became a life-altering reality; one that she faces every single day with courage, humor, and a determination that humbles everyone around her.ALS is not just a diagnosis. It’s a daily battle.
It’s the loss of abilities most of us never think twice about.
It’s the emotional weight of knowing the disease has no cure — yet.And still, my sister shows up with a fighting spirit. She wants her story to matter. She wants her voice to help someone else. She wants awareness to grow so that future families don’t have to face what ours is facing. This year, I’m walking in her honor.
I’m walking because she can’t.
I’m walking because she asked me to help raise as much awareness as possible.
I’m walking because ALS deserves attention, urgency, and action.Your donation, no matter the amount, directly supports research, care, and hope for families like mine. Every dollar is a step toward better treatments, better support, and one day, a cure.If you’ve ever wondered how to make a real impact, this is one of those moments.
Please consider supporting this walk and standing with my sister, with my family, and with everyone fighting ALS.Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and your willingness to help us push forward.
Thank you.
