Hi Everyone!  Matt's Dad here.  Things got a little complicated, but this is the new page for Matt's Mates.

When I moved this over to the new page, we have already received $5,000 in donations from so many kind, wonderful people that my heart is full.

As you may know, Matt was diagnosed in 2023.  Since then this disease has robbed him from his independence and I've watched my son decline and it's breaking my heart.

It's my dream to have all of Matt's friends and family join this walk on September 26th, wear their Matt's Mates T shirt and walk in support of my beautiful son.

If you do plan to walk it's at the boardwalk in beautiful Long Branch on September 26th starting at 9:30 AM.

When you register for the walk, also please let me know your T shirt size on this page and whether you're available for a luncheon following the walk.

Having you participate will bring the biggest smile to Matt's face!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm participating in ALS United Greater New York’s Walk ALS to raise funds that will support individuals and families affected by ALS.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone regardless of age, gender, nationality, or ethnicity, although it is primarily an adult-onset disease. Currently there is no known cause or cure.

Being a part of ALS United Greater New York’s WALK ALS is the number one way to unite and fundraise for those living with ALS. Please consider supporting my efforts by donating through my fundraising page.
