My Personal Walk ALS Jersey Shore Page
Thank you so much for visiting my Fundraising Page :-)
There are people who come into your life for a season—and then there are the ones who become part of your story forever. My dear friend, KC, is one of those people. She has been by my side through every chapter and has known every version of me since we were 10 years old. Now, she’s facing something none of us ever imagined: ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone regardless of age, gender, nationality, or ethnicity, although it is primarily an adult-onset disease. Currently there is no known cause or cure.
If you know her, you know her strength is steady, unwavering, and full of love. She is an incredible mother to her two beautiful young children, and everything she does is rooted in giving them the happiest, fullest life possible. That’s what makes this so deeply unfair.
I’m walking for her because she has always inspired me & because we need more than hope—we need progress, research, and a cure.
If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing. Help me spread the word. Every step we take, every dollar raised, will help find new treatments & bring us closer to a future where ALS is no longer a diagnosis families have to fear.
Please feel free to send this page to any friend or family member who might be interested in donating!
Thank you.
