My Personal Walk ALS Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm participating in ALS United Greater New York’s Walk ALS to raise funds that will support individuals and families affected by ALS.
Our friend Rachel had lost her mother, grandmother, brother, and uncle to familial ALS. She knew she carried a mutation in her SOD-1 gene. She knew that mutation would lead to an eventual ALS diagnosis. That did not stop her from living her life to the fullest, she never stopped fighting for ALS awareness, and was taking part in a clinical trial to help push research forward and find a cure.
Rachel touched so many people in her life before she lost her battle with ALS this year. We walk for her and so no family has to go through what her family has had to go through again.
Thank you.
