This year, our family is walking in memory of our father, Phil.

For three years, he faced ALS with remarkable strength and courage, always meeting each day with grace and dignity.

On June 9, 2026, we lost him to this devastating disease. While we miss him every day, we are choosing to honor his memory by celebrating the incredible life he lived and the love, kindness, and selflessness he shared with everyone around him.

On Sunday, October 18, 2026, we will be participating in ALS United Greater New York’s Walk ALS to help raise funds for people living with ALS and their families in our local community, while also helping to spread awareness about this heartbreaking disease.

We would be so grateful if you would consider joining our team for the walk or making a donation in Phil’s memory. 

There is still no known cause or cure for ALS, and the physical, emotional, and financial toll it takes on families can be overwhelming. By coming together, we can help provide support to families navigating this difficult journey and help move research and a cure forward.

For us, this walk is about so much more than raising money. It’s about keeping Phil’s memory alive, honoring the amazing and selfless man he was, and turning our loss into something that can help others.
