Team ALS Info
On Sunday, Novembher 5, 2023, more than 50,000 runners will line up at the base of the Verrazano Bridge to take on the largest marathon in the world. From Staten Island to Manhattan through all five boroughs, runners are guided through the streets of New York City with the help of tens of thousands of spectators along the entire route.
How do I apply to run with Team ALS?
Interested runners are invited to apply to run with Team ALS by completing this interest form. All applications will be reviewed, and runners can expect to receive more information regarding their application status and next steps shortly after submission.
What are the costs involved, and what do they provide?
Team ALS runners are required to raise a minimum of $4,000. The funds raised by Team ALS directly support the Chapter in its mission to discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.
Runners are responsible for paying their own race registration fee to New York Road Runners.
When is the fundraising requirement due?
Runners are expected to reach the $4,000 fundraising minimum by race day, November 5th. Chapter staff are here to help you every step of the way!
