Circle of Hope
Thank you for visiting our walk site. Circle of Hope is excited to be participating in the North Jersey Walk ALS for our 18th year. Once again we come together, family and friends, a circle of hope, hoping that ALS will soon be conquered. This is an exciting opportunity for us to work together to support our team captain and all those affected by Lou Gehrig's Disease and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure. Please join us in this worthwhile effort by joining the team or contributing toward the funds that are needed to find a cure for this disease. Each dollar you donate brings Circle of Hope and ALS United Greater NY closer to winning the fight.
For more information, please speak to a team member or contact Janet at jep630@yahoo.com. Together we will win the fight against ALS!
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone regardless of age, gender, nationality, or ethnicity, although it is primarily an adult-onset disease. Currently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need.
Help us move a cure for ALS over the finish line by donating today. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS.
Thank you for your support!
