Push Your Limits. Fight ALS.
On May 7th I'm riding with Team Challenge ALS in the 2023 NYC Five Boro Bike Tour. This is to raise funds and awareness to help fight back against this terrible disease. In August of 2009 I lost my dad to ALS, and The ALS Association provided our family with much needed patient services and resources. This organization does so much in order to help those living with ALS. I raise awareness for ALS so that we can find treatments or a cure, and those living with the disease have more time with their loved ones.
In order to ride, I need to hit a minimum fundraising goal of $1000. Please help me get there!!
For those maybe not as familiar with the disease, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
