As her friends and family know, Jeanne was a selfless soul who lived and loved life to the absolute fullest. She had an infectious personality and a smile that could light up a room. A staple in the lives of many, she was constantly helping others, whether that was loved ones or complete strangers. As I like to say, she was a woman of the people. She truly lived for her people and had a deep appreciation for life that has been instilled in those that were lucky enough to know her and experience her love. Throughout her battle with ALS, she never lost that tenacity to be there and to ensure us all how much she loved and appreciated us. As her son, I feel immensely privileged to have had the time I was given with her. Through countless memories, her spirit lives on.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe.
