Walk with us... Ray's Roadies for ALS!

In July of 2022, my Dad, Ray was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS). As you can imagine, Ray and our family were not only devastated, but left with so many questions. We had no idea what Ray's future would look like, or how this would change our family. We have been taking it one day at a time and facing each new challenge as it comes. Fortunately, we have been blessed with never ending support of the professionals at the ALS clinic, other members of support groups for those living with ALS and their families, as well as our family and friends. We would truly be lost without all of you holding us up!
Ray has been a Warrior! In typical Ray fashion, he has been the designer, the builder and the innovator in all necessary projects in preparation for his current and future needs. He is learning how to live his best life in a new way, with as much dedication and vigor as he always has! He keeps on going and said, "I am not giving up!"
We look forward to participating in the ANNUAL WALK TO DEFEAT ALS, Long Island, on September 23, 2023 at Eisenhower Park. We welcome and Invite you to walk with us, "Ray's Roadies" while we try to keep up with Ray as he rides along!
Follow the link to JOIN US on this special day! If you cannot walk with us, please consider making a donation to support the ALS Association Greater New York Chapter, so this association can continue to help so many people living with ALS and their families!
