ALS Walk Why We Walk.png

WHY TEAM YORKTEL WALKS

Often in life, we find that from great loss comes great strength and opportunity. On May 31, 2014, Yorktel lost a very dear family member, Lilly Wang, to ALS. Universally recognized and loved as the “Mother of Yorktel”, Lilly was a role model, mentor, and loving individual her entire life. She always put everyone else’s needs before her own. We walk in honor of our beloved Lilly, and for all those who can no longer walk on their own. We look forward to fundraising and participating in the Jersey Shore Walk to Defeat ALS each year to help raise awareness, funding, and education of this terrible disease.

We miss you terribly, Lilly. But your memory, loving spirit and generosity live on.
