Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm participating in ALS United Greater New York’s Walk ALS to raise funds.

Thirty-six years, almost half of my life, I’ve lived with ALS.  Two years ago, I was retested and my original diagnosis was confirmed, so yes, I have lived with ALS a very long time.  Why am I still alive but others have passed within two years?  I can still eat normal foods but other people living with ALS get nourishment through a feeding tube.  Or why can I speak but my friend with ALS lost their voice shortly after onset? 

ALS is difficult to understand.  There is no cure.  There is no known cause.  There is not even a viable treatment.  Valuable research must continue.

This is why I need your help.  I will once again participate in Walk ALS and am raising funds for research, advocacy and much needed patient care.  Would you please support this important cause with a donation?  Perhaps you will join my team, Circle of Hope and walk with me on Sunday, June 8th.
