I’m participating in ALS United Greater New York’s Walk ALS to raise funds that support individuals and families affected by ALS.

My uncle Rob passed away from ALS in 2011 at just 54 years old. He was the kind of person who brought humor, strength, and warmth to everyone around him. Watching someone so full of life face such a devastating disease was incredibly difficult for our family, and it’s something that has stayed with me ever since.

Participating in this walk is my way of honoring Rob’s memory, supporting families who are currently facing this diagnosis, and helping fund the research needed to find a cure. No family should have to experience what ALS takes away. Every step we take brings us closer to a future where this disease no longer exists.
