Tommy Deagan is the kind of person everyone hopes to have in their life. The one who shows up, lifts others up, and leaves every room a little brighter than he found it. A devoted son, a loving husband, a proud dad and a loyal friend to so many. Tommy has always been known for his big heart and even bigger smile. He has a rare gift: making people feel seen, supported, and cared for, no matter the circumstance. 

If someone needed a hand, Tommy was already there. If someone needed a laugh - he delivered it. That's just who he is - selfless, kind and endlessly giving. 

In November of 2025, Tommy and his family received the life changing diagnosis of ALS. It's the kind of news that shakes a family to it's core, but through it all, Tommy, his wife Julie, and their son T.J. have shown incredible strength, resilience, and grace. They have faced each day with courage, leaning on one another and the community that surrounds them. 

The community has shown-up in a big way. Through ALS United Greater New York, the Deagan family has received invaluable support, resources and compassion - helping them navigate this journey with a sense of hope and connection. 

This fundraiser is about more than one family. It's about standing together for all those impacted by ALS. It's about honoring Tommy's spirit by giving back, raising awareness, and funding critical research and support services.
