Carrying The Flame for MaryJane Walk to Defeat ALS Page
On Saturday, 6/3/23, our team "Carrying the Flame for MaryJane" is joining the movement to cure ALS with hundreds of walkers for Westchester Walk to Defeat ALS in memory of our Mom, MaryJane and now our brother, John.
For the past 23 years, family and friends have walked and we will continue to participate until a cure if found.
ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. Every 90 minutes, another person in this country is diagnosed with the disease.
There is currently NO cure. And that’s just unacceptable.
So it’s why we are walking – for those who can’t. Our goal for this event is $550 and we hope you’ll help me reach it.
Your one-time, tax-deductible donation will help people in our community and also fund some pretty cutting-edge research.
Any amount you feel comfortable giving is appreciated; every dollar makes a difference. With your support, we can make a positive impact today for everyone living with ALS tomorrow.
The past 2 years have brought incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care for people living with ALS, and enabled legislation that impacts the quality of life of people with ALS and their families.
Your support is greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you at the Walk to Defeat ALS on 6/3/23.
Sincerely,
Jean and Team Carrying the Flame for MaryJane
