Walk ALS Westchester

WIN THE FIGHT

On Sunday, June 1st, I am joining the movement to cure ALS with hundreds of walkers for ALS Walk Westchester.  This is the 13th year that my WTF (WinTheFight) team is walking in memory of my husband, STEVE MARINO, who was taken from us at the early age of 55 because of this horrific disease.  Steve fought a tough fight but lost his battle on Oct. 6th, 2012.  To date, our team has raised over $320,000 in Steve's memory; and this makes me very proud and grateful to everyone who donated.

ALS, or commonly known as LOU GEHRIG'S DISEASE,  is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. Every 90 minutes, another person in this country is diagnosed with the disease. There is currently NO cure. And that’s just unacceptable.

Your one-time, tax-deductible donation, will help those afflicted with ALS and also fund some pretty cutting-edge research.

Any amount you feel comfortable giving is appreciated; every dollar makes a difference. With your support, we can make a positive impact today for everyone living with ALS tomorrow.
