We are participating in a walk on June 1, 2024 at Manhattanville College to raise money and awareness for ALS. We are motivated to bring awareness to ALS because our dear family member Susanna Estrella-Demott is battling this disease. We want to walk in support of her and others affected by ALS. We wish to walk for those suffering from ALS who are not able to walk for themselves. We want those affected by ALS to know we care.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease. Currently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need.
